Summary: It's amazing how a bunch of sequels can feel like parts of an anthology series that forgot how long regular episodes are supposed to be. But in this film universe, the more things change, the more they stay the same...

History: Every story here is different, but there are always two constant factors. Two different results of government experimentation. There is always a hyper intelligent golden retriever named Einstein, and a monster that can only think about killing everything in its path. More times than not, it falls on Einstein to help the humans dispose of whatever shrieking terror mad science has unleashed.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: The first monster is shot down after it breaks down in sorrow, the next is also shot (but not before clutching a teddy bear given to it by Einstein), the next is burnt to ashes after getting knocked into a spike trap, and the last one is fatally shot after trying to protect our protagonists.

Powers/Abilities: None

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-Most of these creatures are pretty vicious, and will never guarantee you a graceful demise. However, many of them prove to be rather sympathetic in nature, with some actually tormented by their need to kill. The first and last creatures instantly come to mind. Either way, Einstein always brings out the very worst and the very best in them.

Trivia: -None of the films follow Dean Koontz's original story very faithfully.

-The first film's original screenwriter, Paul Haggis, refused to work on it any more after the Writer's Guild had a strike. They gave the script to Damien Lee for a re-write.
